After all... what IS Under the Stars? 

Well, the most obvious answer is that it is a game. A visual novel, interative fiction, or whatever. But that answer wouldn't be enough to explain why this game is so important to me. So I guess I'll try to put here all the little things that made this one of the most passionate projects I made to this day.

If you played Clube das Senhorinhas, my other game, or at least read it's devlog, you must know that I'm a fantasy writer to my core. It's my comfort zone, the thing I love writing the most, even though it's a bit complicated to write sometimes (because I always get lost trying to create magic systems). But after I grew up, I had gave up writing those "classic" fantasy stories -- with princesses, knights, and such. Half because I did A LOT of it and was a bit bored and other half because I thought they were dumb. "Everyone writes fantasy like that.", I thought, and sometimes I still think.

But after meeting a friend and sharing the same tastes of knights and drama and such, I started to think that maybe... maybe writing a story like that, just for fun, couldn't be so bad. And then I started to write Under the Stars having the objective of "having the most fun I could and making it the most indulgeble piece of game I would ever do".

And then I started writing. Clumsy knights, sad princes, a lonely princess that's taller than the love interests... Everything I loved the most, the things I was most embarrassed of, I put everything here. Inside Under the Stars. Every single piece of it.

To be honest, I'm a bit scared of everyone's reaction. Maybe people will think it is dumb, or silly. Because it is. But it's fine, I guess. Let's laugh together. :)

1. INSPIRATION

Dulari's tiara is actually inspired by Princess Tutu outfit!! I love this anime sm..........

2. HEIGHT COMPARISON

I know I said this in-game, but Dulari is taller than pretty much everyone!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the height comparison with her and the love interests and the Star:

3. CONCEPT

The characters went through a bunch of one-shots until I finally got a grip of what their identity but oh boy Leon went through all existing personalities. He started as a flirty guy then a shy nerd then something in-between those two (it made just as sense as you may be thinking rn ) then a drama queen then......... well whatever he is today. I'm happy my boy found his own personality (sad boy) and hope you guys like him. Be kind to him, he's fragile. :')
